10/09/2014 Unfortuantley we are sorry to annouce that the Go-Ride sessions have been postponed until further notice, due to the availability of qualified coaches.

Go-Ride is British Cycling's development programme for young people. The programme provides a fun and safe way to introduce young riders to the world of cycle sport and provides a platform to improve bike handling skills. Over 280 clubs through out the UK have now signed up to the Go-Ride programme, of which the Andover Wheelers is one.

The Andover Wheelers' British Cycling qualified coaches deliver coaching sessions for children between the ages of 7 & 16 years old in the traffic-free environment of Harrow Way Community School. Any type of bike can be used, so long as it is in good condition, and a cycling helmet must be worn. The sessions teach the necessary skills to make riders more competent, safer cyclists. All abilities are welcome and under 7's will be considered but it's dependant on ability.

These coaching sessions will take place on Saturday mornings from 28th September 2013 and will meet at the Tennis Courts of Harrow Way Community School. The sessions will start at 10am and last until midday.

Each session will cost 1, and children will require the following items: Bike, Helmet, appropriate Clothing, Drink and a Small Snack. A signed Parental Consent Form is also required.  These will also be available on the day.

More Information about Go-Ride can found on the British Cycling website.
